However, several students from Penn State DuBois and Penn State Greater Allegheny took their spring break trip to another level through the alternative spring break program.
High school students from numerous schools in the region came to Hiller Auditorium at Penn State DuBois on Thursday for the 33rd annual senior scholastic challenge. Six schools were represented at the event, which tested knowledge in numerous subjects.
Student bocce players from around the region recently gathered at the PAW Center on the campus of Penn State DuBois to compete in the interscholastic unified sports bocce regional championship. Closing out the regular season at home at the PAW Center, the Nittany Lions and Lady Lions of Penn State DuBois saw split results in their final games. Both the men’s and women’s teams played host to Penn State Beaver last Wednesday, in what was the final regular season games for both campuses.
